LIFE IS MUSIC.MUSIC IS LIFE.
I started playing guitar at 12 years old learning to play my favorite Aerosmith and Kiss songs. I took lessons when I was 14 for about a year, and was fortunate enough to join my first band, Intruder. I started off playing backyard parties first, playing covers, eventually writings my own songs at the age of 15. I hit the studio at 16 years old and was hooked for life. By this time I had learned that playing lead guitar was all about phrasing, melody, and harmony. It still holds true for me today.
I continued writing songs through the years, from instrumental stuff to just good old rock and roll. In 1990, I went on a 15 year hiatus, still recording and writing but not playing in a band.
In 2005, I formed Blue Hail and released our self titled album. Many gigs later, life called again, I took a break from music for a time. The urge for me to get out and play live hit me like a ton of bricks. I played around Sacramento with Radio Heavy, and On the Fly. I landed a deal with Gatewood Guitars and crossed over to country music. I played with Midnight Railway, and also Tim Thurman of Nashville. Eventually I came back to my calling, heavy rock and melodic metal. I now play in the band Four Ten.
We just released our first single "The Truth". Our next single "Desert Sun" is to be released in late August. Its been a wild ride, and this train ain't stopping anytime soon.
